FAQ
- What files can be loaded and saved? We currently support the following file formats:
   Kawai Q-55, Q-80 and Q-80EX
Standard MIDI Files (.MID and .RMI)
System Exclusive and SysExe Files (.SYX)
   Karaoke (.KAR)
   Lyrics from Karaoke Files (.TXT)
If you have documentation on other sequencer file formats, it should be fairly easy to add them to the program. Just ask us.
- Is this program updated regularly? SeqMid is now a "mature" product, with no major functionality changes planned. However, it is still tweaked on occasion or on request. See the program notes here.
- Are there conversions for other file formats in the works? There are file formats that we've begun investigating, but haven't fully figured out just yet:
   Voyetra
   Roland Micro Composer series
   Korg N364

If you have technical documents for any of these or others, please let us know - we may be able to fit in into future versions.
- What are Standard MIDI Files? Standard MIDI files are more commonly known as .MID files. They are understood by a wide range of music software.
- What are SNG files? SNG files are copied from your Q-55 or Q-80 diskettes. To copy them, use another shareware program for DOS called Q80Util.
- My Q-80 files still won't convert. What's wrong? The Q80Util program is known to work incorrectly in some situations. Try using it on a Windows 95 or 98 machine, or run it from DOS mode in Windows.
